Amery Gration

I am a second-year PhD student with the Theoretical Astrophysics Group at the Department of Physics and Astronomy, University of Leicester. I completed my MPhys at Lincoln College, Oxford, in 2014.

I work on the dynamical modelling of dwarf spheroidal galaxies, using Gaussian process emulation to explore more general model spaces than is possible using traditional modelling schemes. In particular I seek to answer the questions, `What are the total dark matter masses of the dwarf spheroidals that orbit the Milky Way?', and `What are the density profiles of the dark matter halos of these dwarfs?'
